Military and Veterans Resource Center Statement for Faculty and Staff

At IUP, we have over 150 students who currently serve in the National Guard and reserves. A few聽IUP students have already been put on active duty orders. We should expect more to be called to active duty before this crisis is over.

IUP veterans and military-affiliated students: While the聽Military and Veterans Resource Center offices are closed during the coronavirus outbreak, Director Cory Shay is working remotely聽to continue providing you with support, address your concerns, and work with the VA on GI Bill聽benefits and certifications.

Military and Veterans Resource Center Lunch and Learn February 17

Faculty and staff are invited to 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. sessions on Monday, February 17 to hear updates from the Military and Veterans Resource Center. Topics will include recent changes to GI Bill benefits and the positive/negative impact those changes will have on IUP students.聽
