The GPA calculators are located under the "More" menu. There are three different GPA calculators: Graduation, Term, and Advice.

The calculators can help students set realistic goals at the beginning of the term or academic career and calculate their end-of-term actual academic information.

Degree Works GPA Calculator

1. In MyIUP, click the Degree Works card based on your role. (Search "degree" in All Cards to locate.)

This shows the login to MyIUP and how to access the DegreeWorks card.

2. Enter the Student ID (P number), or click Advanced Search to search by name.

3.   Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen, then click GPA Calculator.

There are three tabs available: Graduation Calculator, Term Calculator, and Advise Calculator.

Graduation Calculator 

Graduation Calculator allows you to enter the desired GPA at graduation to calculate the average GPA you need to maintain in your remaining terms to achieve that goal.

Enter the desired GPA in which the student wants to graduate. For demonstration purposes, the desired GPA is entered as the minimum GPA for institutional honors. Once the desired GPA is entered, click Calculate.

The results will indicate what GPA is needed to reach the desired GPA entered.

Term Calculator

Term Calculator allows the student to enter the grades that they expect to earn for the in-progress classes to calculate the GPA at the end of the term.

Enter the grade for each course listed and click Calculate.

The results show the change to the GPA based on the expected grades entered.

Advice Calculator

The Advice Calculator allows the student to enter the desired GPA at graduation to see the grades needed to achieve the GPA goal.

Enter the desired graduation GPA, then click Calculate.
